All about this movie!
In an alternate timeline in 2029, Logan has been aging with his healing ability falling. He is taking care of Chales Xavier, the founder of the X-Men in an abandoned smelting plant in northern Mexico with Caliban. Charles has developed dementia that causes him to have destructive seizures. One year ago, one such seizure released a powerful wave of his telepathic powers that killed seven mutants. Since then, the three are the last of the X-Men.
The rest of the story follows Logan protecting a young girl named, Laura, who is also a mutant with very similar powers as Logan. It turns out that she was created from Logan’s DNA. He decides to help Laura get back to where the rest of the children mutants are taking refuge.
Logan and Laura fights the Reavers sent to capture the children. They manage to free all the children and defeat the mercenaries. However, Logan gets killed by X-24, a clone of Logan in his prime. Near death, Logan tells Laura not to become the weapon that she was made to be. Laura and the children bury Logan. Laura turns his grave marker on its side to create an X, honoring him as a member of the last X-Men, before she and the children depart for the Canadian border.

My thoughts!
Since its release, Logan was one of the films I really wanted to watch. I had to wait almost 2 full years before I got the chance of finally watching it. Although I never liked the X-Men film series, and was absolutely shocked by the disaster they’ve created with the second Wolverine film, The Wolverine, I really enjoyed this movie. It was sad how Logan, who was until then an undefeated superhero with healing powers, now became an old man with drinking issues. I almost cried when Laura turned Logan’s grave marker to make it an X. The film Logan was definitely the best out of the rest of the Wolverine trilogy in terms of the acting, storyline, and the whole tone. Logan will always be remembered as my favorite superhero film.
